Hi all,
A presceduled post for today since I won't be having time to upload anything today or tomorrow. It's another marble that I did a while back and I thought it turned out pretty nicely.
Watermarble done with Orly Lemonade as a base and Lemonade and Pixy Stix used as marble colors. They are so cute and happy together. The Orly Sweets are amazing for marbling, since they're very pigmented.
I think my index turned out less than the other fingers, but even that one looks alright to me. This might be the first marble I'm really pleased with :)
And just because my fingers looked superduperawesome after marbling, I added a pic pre cleanup.
Awesome right? I used the vaseline method this time instead of the tape method, and I found it to be easy to work with: if you apply the vaseline right, you won't have that much of a hassle to take the polish of your fingers.
HOUHA your marble is just so beautiful ! I really like it !
ReplyDeleteMooohoooi!
ReplyDeleteI love this! Those colors really do look happy together!
ReplyDeleteWat leuk, zo vrolijk!
ReplyDeleteVery nice Daph!! Lovely combination of colors!
ReplyDeleteI want to try watermarbling too, but I´m so clumsy that I´m worried it will turn out be a big mess with nailpolish all over the place and my kitchen ruined
I LOVE all your watermarble manicures. You always choose wonderful combo of colours and your technique is excellent.
ReplyDeleteI've never tried watermarble: I'm quite clumsy and I'm scared about the possible results. :D
Have a nice w-e! ;)
Love it!
ReplyDeletezo vrolijk! Het doet me meteen aan de lente denken!
ReplyDeletedeze water marble is zoooooo leuk! zo mooi lukt het nooit bij mij...
ReplyDeleteThis turned out fantastic! Good for Halloween since it looks like candy corn =D
ReplyDeleteOeehh this is a pretty one!! Hope you're doing okay.. Haven't seen you around.. xxx
ReplyDeleteThe pattern and colors are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteMiranda I always cover my desk in toiletpaper of papertowels to prevent it from getting polished hehe. I also have paper underneath the papertowels to be safe.. As long as you don't use disposable plastic cups, you should be fine! (disposable cups dissolve when polish gets stuck to it)
ReplyDeleteCristina aw you should definately try it sometime! I'm quite clumsy myself and I really like to do it. It takes a bit of time but the result can be very pretty!
Freshie thanks, you actually gave me a new idea to do a marble with this month! :D
