Catrice Absolutely Chinchilly! stamped with Wet n Wild Black Creme and imageplate M60. The color combination gives me a very sad feeling, like pooring rain out of dark clouds.. I think it's the color combination. It's somehow making me sad! I've never had that before.. Weird, eh?
Deborah Lippmann Ruby Red Slippers, three coats over Chanel Gondola. You don't have to layer it: I wanted to try it over Gondola, but I liked it better when it was darker, so I added more coats. Ruby Red Slippers consists of red hexagonal glitter and fine red glitter in a sheer black base. It gives an amazing look and I loved it! You might need some topcoat though; it dried quite gritty with me and I ended up using two or three coats of topcoat (not pictured in the photo).
Another picture, this time in lower lighting. It looks so glow-y, it's so pretty to look at! I love it. 
Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure over Wet n Wild Black Creme with Catrice Matt Top Coat. Isn't that amazing? I thought I was going to love the shiny version more, but I definitely like the matte version better. 
The duochrome/multichrome effect of the flakies doesn't disappear the least when you put a matte topcoat on it! I love it. It makes it look like scales or something. Prettay!
Barielle Night Moves stamped with Wet n Wild Black Creme and imageplate M64. Silver and Black is a golden combination with me, and so is this one. I had a little bit of trouble transferring the stamp good enough to get straight lines, but I still like how it turned out! 
Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure, one coat over one coat of Wet n Wild Black Creme. Awesomeeeeeee! I have to admit that when I look at the bottle, I'm kinda like 'meh'. I have that with more of my flakie polishes, because it just doesn't appeal to me from the other side of the glas..
But then, when I put it on, it's like *haaaaaalelujah!* The main color of the flakies is orange, but when you tilt your hand just the tiniest little bit, you'll see yellow, gold and green pop up! It's so awesome to look at. This is over black, which is probably the color that gives it the most *pop* in my opinion (though I have to say that it's pretty amazing over pretty much every (dark) color!)
You can see the colorchanging in this closeup pretty well, this picture shows every color that shows up when you wear Hidden Treasure.. *gasps* cool, eh? 
Barielle Get Mauve-ing stamped with Wet n Wild Black Creme and imageplate M71. Because Get Mauve-ing is such a soothing color, I really liked the lacey stamping on it. I like those more on the dusty, muted looking polishes somehow.
I used China Glaze Breakin' as a base, and Wet n Wild Black Creme for the faces and the candle on my pinkie. I did the flame with an ittybitty of Breakin'. My hand wasn't as steady as I wanted it to be while I drew on the faces, but you get the idea, right? :P 
Chick nails! Ain't that cute? *giggles*. I used Hard Candy Splendid as a base and H&M Love At First Sight for the eggshells and the eyes. I used Wet n Wild Black Creme for the eyes and finished the chicks by giving them beaks with China Glaze Breakin'. They turned out pretty nice! 
They would do great as easter nails as well, so I think you'll be seeing a variation on this creation somewhere near Easter next year too :) 
Zoya Dovima, two coats in indirect sunlight. Domiva is a matte black, packed with shimmer. The matte isn't matte-matte, but has a semi-satin finish. The shimmer in the polish shows mostly silver, but in some lights it also shows you a variety of colors. I topped it off with some topcoat to see how she looked, and I wasn't disappointed.
Zoya Dovima with topcoat to make it shiny. I left this picture bigger, so you can see the shimmer better. I could see blue, red, green, yellow, purple and pink shimmer besides the silver shimmer that's visible most of the time. In the next picture you see a closeup of how the polish looks most of the time. 
Application was pretty darn good! Mattes tend to be lumpy and when you go over the same spot twice, you might drag some of the polish off that was already there. I didn't have that issue with this pretty baby though! I wouldn't recommend going over the polish over and over, but it doesn't seem to have the same issues as regular mattes.
Color Club What A Drag stamped with Wet n Wild Black Creme and imageplate M63. It pops! And it's so easy to do. I'm gonna keep the color combination in mind; I really like it. And can you believe I had not used this design before? This is the first time! Jeez, gotta grab my plates a little more, cuz it's cool.. *stops rambling*
Wet n Wild Night Prowl, three coats in daylight. Night Prowl is a black base filled with magenta/red based purple glitter. The glitter shows up easily, although some glitter disappears after applying the third coat. The surface isn't completely smooth, but it's not bumpy either. I didn't use a topcoat in this picture and I'm sure that if you use a topcoat, the surface will be completely smooth on this baby.
China Glaze Golden Spurs, three coats in daylight. Golden Spurs is a golden shimmer that has a hint of brown to it.. I think. I can't put my finger on it. And I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised by this little gem! It might not look spectacular to you, but it's one of the few gold-ish shades that I can wear without getting ugly red claws. I really likt it! It feels like a very wearable color, even in an office environment.
China Glaze Golden Spurs, stamped with Wet n Wild Black Creme and Bundle Monster Imageplate BM11. Fall means leaves falling off the trees to me, so I immediately thought of the leavespattern on one of my Bundle Monster Plates. It turned out alright! It would have been better when I used a dark brown polish so the contrast wouldn't be so harsh, but I like it nontheless.
Kinetics Darkside with scribbles of Milani Foxy Lady and China Glaze Ink, stamped with Konad special polish in Black Pearl and imageplate M57. 
Do you agree? I think I like the previous version better since it's a little calmer, but I do like this one too. It's a bit different, and I like that. The reddish tone of Foxy Lady contrasts with Darkside so that's nice :)
I used H&M Love At First Sight as a base, which is opaque in two coats. I randomly placed black scribbles with China Glaze Ink (I need to get myself a bottle of black creme.. Grr) and scribbled a little more with RBL Stormy. In the original design, lace was places on top of the scribbly look, but since I don't have any lace to put on my nails, I decided to go with Konad imageplate M57. I stamped the image with Konad special polish in Black Pearl and voila! 
I really love the look of this and I think I will do this again to wear it as a full manicure. Maybe I can even try this with slightly different colors, but I think you'd better not go with colors that are too bright..

Nubar Knight's Armor, two coats in daylight. Knight's Armor has square silver glitter in a black base. It looks alright when applied like this. I expected the glitters to give the polish more dimension, but it doesn't. So, of course, I slapped a coat of matte topcoat on it to see how that would look.
Nubar Knight's Armor, two coats with one coat of Essie Matte About You in daylight. That's better! Somehow the matte topcoats adds depth to it and I'm digging this.
China Glaze Cowardly Lyin', four coats in daylight. Cowardly Lyin' is a frosty gold packed with tiny golden glitter. The polish isn't as yellow as my picture shows it, it's a little more 'faded'. I like the idea of this one, however, golds and frosts are not really my thing. Cowardly Lyin' doesn't clash with my skintone as much as most other golds do, so this is good.
China Glaze Cowardly Lyin', four coats, stamped with Konad special polish in Black Pearl, imageplate M57 and OPI Suzi Says Da! to fill in the spots. I think it looks alright :) I'm not really into the whole leopard print thing, but I think this looks quite nice. 
Kitty Ate All The Fish! I used OPI Princesses Rule! as a basecolor (two coats) and stamped it with Konad Special polish in Black Pearl and China Glaze Awaken. I used Bundle Monster imageplate BM04 for the images. I really like how this one turned out! What do you think?
Misa Wishing on a Star, three coats in indirect daylight. Wishing on a Star has a black base, filled with tons of silver microglitter. I'd almost say this is glassflecked, but not just yet.. The microglitter flashes green and blue before my eyes, but I wasn't able to capture that with my camera. Since this contains a ton of microglitter, let's take a closer look, shall we?
*insert ooh and aah here* Doesn't that look great? I can't help myself staring at these kind of shades when they're on my nails. It's just so sparkly!
China Glaze Lemon Fizz with Nubar Diamont, stamped with Konad Special Polish in Black Pearl and imageplates M57 (ring finger) and M81 (other fingers). I thought it would make a nice combination, but the yellow is just to light and pastel to work with such a dark color. The contrast is too big. I decided to show you anyway because I don't see these plates too often on other blogs :) 
ManGlaze Matte is Murder with one coat of Nubar Diamont and China Glaze Awaken for stamping. I used M70 to stamp, it's one of my newer plates - I ordered a bunch of plates with mostly full nail images. I really like the contrast with this one, but I think it doesn't pop Matte is Murder as much as it deserves.. But I do think these two make a lovely combination.
