Wet n Wild Night Prowl

Hi all,

Today I have a polish that I got in a swap package from a lovely MUA'er :) Wet n Wild isn't easily available in The Netherlands, although some webshops sell it :)

Wet n Wild Night Prowl, three coats in daylight. Night Prowl is a black base filled with magenta/red based purple glitter. The glitter shows up easily, although some glitter disappears after applying the third coat. The surface isn't completely smooth, but it's not bumpy either. I didn't use a topcoat in this picture and I'm sure that if you use a topcoat, the surface will be completely smooth on this baby.

Application was alright. I'm not really into the skinny brushes and since Wet n Wild has one.. That's a minus on my list. The base was a bit watery, but due to the glitters it was still a bit thick while applying. Drying time was good.

What are your favorites from Wet n Wild? I know Black Creme is an overall favorite because of the stamping, but I wanna know more!

Ciaté Festival Fever Couple I

Hi all!

Today I have a couple of swatches for you that I did over a month ago and they were just lying around.. I originally planned these to go up while I was on vacay, but somehow I forgot! I don't know how that happened. Anyway, here is the first couple. I have swatched Talent Scout and Fun Fair earlier. Let's take a look!

Ciaté Mainstage, two coats in indirect daylight. Mainstage is a dark magenta creme that it bright and bold at the same time. Imagine this a tad darker please.. I like these kind of pinks! Completely opaque in two coats.

Ciaté Ditch The Heels, three coats in daylight. Ditch The Heels is a bright green creme with a hint of blue. I wouldn't call this a neon, but it is bright! My camera makes it look a bit washed out, but it's not. Application was alright; the polish was a bit on the thick side but I still needed three coats for opacity.

Ciatés brushes are easy to work with; they're a tad wider than the regular polish brush, but smaller than the OPI ProWide brush. Ditch The Heels was a bit on the thick side formula wise, but I didn't have any problems with mainstage.

What do you think of these two?

Models Own Magenta Divine

Hi all!

How are you all today? Are you as tired as I am after only two days of work? I feel like I ran a marathon or something! Anyway, today I have Models Own Magenta Divine for you.

Models Own Magenta Divine, three coats in daylight. Magenta Divine is a clear based magenta glitter. Woah, glitter! It has been a while since I wore this kind of glitter.. Pretty though! Application was fine, I find that glitters have some kind of manual for application. I want the glitters evenly divided on my nails and sometimes glitter just sticks together. I didn't have that issue with this one though!

In the same range as Magenta Divine, there's Emerald City. I own Emerald City as well, so I'll try to swatch it somewhere later this week. I find myself really busy since I started working more, so I can't do my nails as often as I'd like. All will be fine though, I'm sure! I just have to find some kind of rhythm and balance in my life :)

H&M Meet Mrs Perfect

Hi all!

Today I have a polish from H&M for you; Meet Mrs Perfect. I don't think the name is fitting, but that's my opinion. On to the pics!


H&M Meet Mrs Perfect, three coats in daylight - no direct light though. Meet Mr Perfect is a relatively dark pink that leans to magenta. It has a unusual finish; it's not entirely frosty and I can see a pearl finish as well as some very subtle shimmer. It's one of my weak spots, pink. But it turns out, I don't like this color! It's missing something, but I have no idea what. Application was ok, although the formula was a little too watery for my liking. Drying time was ok as well. I expected more of this polish when I bought it. Too bad, but you can't have everything, right?

P2 Stylish

First: I apologize for the amount of frazzle and chipping on my nails. I wore this color for 3 days in which I assembled four closets. I'm a bit amazed this is the only damage it has done, but I'd rather show you the color without frazzle and stuff.

So here she is, P2 Stylish, a hard to miss dark pink.



First picture is indoors, second picture is taken in sunlight. This is two coats with a layer of David. Again, I assembled some closets, so damage isn't as worse as it could be. The color is a hard to miss, almost fuchsia pink. It's not neon and contains a little bit of shimmer and is really shiny without topcoat already. The polish is a bit brush strokey though, and application was a bit trickey. Structure of the polish was a bit thick, but since I ordered a bottle of Seche Restore, application shouldn't be a problem next time.

I hope I can swatch some polishes tomorrow and the days after that. I don't feel too well, so I hope I feel good enough to polish :)

Pretty Purple-opolis

Dit zijn, net als de foto's van Diamond Cosmetics Party Hearty, oudere foto's. Mijn nagels waren hier langer dan ze nu zijn!

These are, just like the pictures of Diamond Cosmetics Party Hearty, older pictures. My nails are longer in the pictures than they are today!

OPI Purple-opolis heb ik al een keer eerder op gehad, maar ik heb er nog geen foto's van gepost. De naam doet denken dat het een paarse lak is, maar ik vind hem nogal neigen naar roze. Het is een sterk naar rood neigende paars. De kleur is erg mooi en in het licht zie je een lichte paarse shimmer. Dit is twee laagjes met HEMA Quickdry topcoat.

I've worn Purple-opolis before, but I haven't had time to post pictures of that yet. The color suggests purple, but it strongly leans towards pink. It's probably a very red toned purple. The color is pretty and when light hits it, a subtle lighter purple shimmer appears. This is two coats with one coat of HEMA Quickdry topcoat.


Helaas had ik geen daglicht om de foto's in te maken, dus de shimmer is niet goed te zien. De kleur is een fractie donkerder in het echt, maar de kleur is vrij accuraat. Ik vind de kleur geweldig. Hij is niet helemaal paars, maar hij is ook niet roze. I like! Dit is mijn nummer 2 OPI lak. Op nummer 1 staat nog steeds Princesses rule!.

Unfortunately I didn't have any daylight to take pictures in, so the shimmer isn't really visible. The color is a little off in my pics, it's slightly darker but other than that, it's pretty color accurate. I really like this color, because it's not really a purple but it certainly isn't pink. I like! This would be my number two OPI polish; Princesses rule! is still number one ;)
